Some of the Jedi survivors named on the walls in Aurabesh are pretty deep cuts into EU lore. More could well be revealed about the Jedi in the upcoming Rogue Squadron movie. It will be interesting to see whether Lucasfilm explore his story in greater detail going forward, because Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 2 featured a Force-sensitive boy named Corran who was being taken to Corellia, perhaps indicating the boy is the canon version of Valin's son. Valin's story is an interesting one in the Star Wars Expanded Universe, in that he was created before George Lucas made the prequels, and his story doesn't really match up with the Star Wars timeline. Valin was eventually killed by the bounty hunter Bossk, and although his son suspected an assassination, he could never find out who had paid for his father to be murdered. He became a noted inspector in CorSec, joined by his son Corran. Halcyon was a young Corellian Jedi who was secretly adopted by a Corellian Security officer named Rostek Horn. One of the most exciting names to be canonized in Obi-Wan Kenobi, is Star Wars Legends' Valin Halcyon.
